Hey <<First Name>>! This whole year has been in sort of a lull with direct advertising. Google scared a bunch of bloggers and companies, so everyone is scrambling to figure out the new ad world. But things are settling down once again and people still want to figure out how to stretch their ad budget the best.
I still have a hard time believing that this world is my career now. I honestly never felt that any job was for me untilI found this one. That makes me less scared about the instability of self-employment. My suggestion to absolutely everyone is to really try to find something that fits for you. It doesn't have to be new and different. It doesn't have to be self-employment. Just try to find something that truly makes you happy - then see if you can make money at it. Once you find that one thing that fits both of those categories, I bet you'll wonder why you hadn't looked before.

It is the beginning of a new month. So as you may know, here is my complete online income breakdown of November 2012:

The rest of our income comes from
renting out our old house, renting out our
spare bedroom, and hubby's hobby jobs. He works from home with me, but he is also a part-time bowling alley mechanic year round and a highschool varsity football official from August through December (if they are lucky and get playoff games).
DISCLAIMER: Please keep in mind that this income comes from 70-90 hour work weeks divided between me and Mr. BFS and we do end up paying 30-40% in income taxes since we do have to cover the employer's part as well. I also was working 100+ hours a week personally for nearly a year before I was able to leave my day job and do this full time. I just wanted to be clear that this isn't easy money in any respect. I want to inspire everyone to accomplish their dreams, no matter what it takes. I am not saying it will be simple or fast. It just can be done.
