Hi <<First Name>>! So, as I announced yesterday on BFS, I am now aiming to lose 5 pounds by the end of 2012. My biggest method will be logging absolutely everything I eat and estimating their Weight Watcher point values since that system helped me lose 30 pounds in 2010. To help me stay on target, I am relying heavily foods like carrots, bananas, and sugar free Jello. My heaviest meals just involve less meat than usual and I'm not going back for seconds, lol. I am cutting back on carbs by not grabbing three servings of bread, but I am still eating breads and pastas in general. Just smaller servings.
My second plan of attack is to exercise more. I've started doing planks twice a day and need to add in cardio. Anybody up for being a walking partner? We could talk on the phone while walking or something to make sure we both get our butts in gear. Just email me back if you are interested (you can hit "Reply"). If a bunch of emails come in, maybe we can make an email group and team up from there. Or rotate. Or anything that gets us moving. :-D

EEmusings asked, "Curious as to whether you have a bucket list and what’s on it?"
I don't have a bucket list written down yet, but I am changing that right now I suppose. :-) Before I die, I want:
-
To keep our close friends long-term. Before our small group now, I never had a truly close friend for more than a couple of years either because of moves or life changes.
-
To live debt free. We are about 10 years away from having zero mortgage debt. I am going to try to shorten that.
-
To raise a puppy. The only dogs I have personally had have been our Dachshund and Pug and we adopted each of them at 7 and 6 respectively (now 14 and 9).
-
To change at least one life (not in my direct family or friends group) for the better. I'm not sure if I am ever having a child, so I hope I am helping others either through blogging or daily interactions. I'd be proud if that is my stamp on the world before I'm gone.
-
To not screw up a kid. If I have one, I really hope I do not completely suck at being a parent. I would consider myself a success as long as my child isn't a jerk. I know, that may be a low bar, but based on the adults I know, I think that should be an aim for more people.
Thanks for being the best readers ever!
