Hi <<First Name>>! I've mentioned it before, but I am helping to organize the #FinCon14 Camp again this year, and it's just around the corner! I've been working with Ashley Barnett and Todd Tressider to organize a great event, but I will admit that the closer it gets, the more jittery I am. It'll be awesome, I am 99.9999% certain of that. But you know that feeling when you are being judged since it's your responsibility? I'm there and will just keep all of my fingers and toes crossed. Just to let you know though, there won't be a newsletter next Friday most likely since I'll still be in New Orleans. But I should have a ton to write about when I get back!
Oh, and so you will have something to look forward to whether you can make it or not, I am hoping to get someone to tape me doing a lip sync and dance number of "All About That Bass" at the karaoke night next Wednesday. You Tube the real video when you get the chance, then imagine me doing a bad mock-up, and I will make sure to post it if it happens. :-D

Donna Freedman asked, "What are you hoping to learn at FinCon14? Seems to me you already know what needs knowing about the PF blogosphere….See you there!"
First of all, thank you for always being so supportive and kind! I was going to respond that I was only going to attend to meet people - nothing specific to learn. But then I really thought about your question and wanted to give a more thorough answer. I honestly don't know much about affiliate advertising at all, but I also am not extremely interested. So that will probably be a no-go In the end, I would like to get that huge jolt of writing inspiration that I get every year from FinCon, but this year I hope it pushes me to get super personal and fun again. I feel like my first year or two were just bouncier than my posts are now. I'm looking to get back to those roots...
Thanks for being the best readers ever!
