Hi <<First Name>>! About 6 weeks ago, I developed a lower back pain that made it impossible to sit and type for more than 20 minutes at a time. After 9 chiropractor visits and 1 sports massage, I am still generally sore/tight, but I can work. And walk. And it's way better!
That said, I decided to take the next step and saw my actual doctor this past Wednesday. Now, while I heal all the way, I have better pain meds for the days and muscle relaxants for the evenings. Sleep is wonderful! I can't remember ever taking anything stronger than Ibuprofen before (with the exception of a single Tramadol once)...now I know why people can appreciate pharmaceutical help when they are already doing everything else they can to get better! :-D

Nancy Black asked, "I’d really like some great tips on lowering my monthly bills. Everything Incoming and outgoing cancel my funds down to nothing left for the month. No major purchases or frivolous expenditures.. Just rent, garbage,Electric bill, Fuel for furnace, loan, and two credit cards. I’m ashamed of myself because I use the cards to purchase food ..for my family."
You shouldn't be ashamed. We all do what we can. The trick is realizing the problem and then changing it.
If you've already cut what you can cut, and called the utilities you can call to get the best rates possible, then your next plan of attack should include raising your income instead of cutting costs. I mean, you can get down to the bare minimum of expenses (including moving to a cheaper home or trading for a less expensive car), but at some point, you hit the floor. Then you need to look at your income and see what can be done there.
I don't know your specific situation, but maybe you can get a raise at work or work more hours. If not, you can look into getting a 2nd job or side hustle like babysitting on the weekends or reselling stuff on Craigslist or Ebay. Or look into passive income opportunities like renting out a room in your home to a friend or family member looking for a place. Money opportunities are usually easier to come by than cutting costs you already tackled as much as you could before.
Thanks for being the best readers ever!
